Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Drum Dojo™, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Drum Dojo™ is a web application for creating, practising, and sharing drum exercises called Katas. The service includes a notation editor, a click/metronome, BPM progress tracking, and the ability to organise and publish Katas.

3. User Accounts

• One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted
• You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of the Katas and other content you create on Drum Dojo™. By publishing a Kata publicly, you grant Drum Dojo™ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that Kata to other users on the platform.

You represent that you have the right to share any content you publish, and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the Drum Dojo™ platform or its underlying code
• Scrape or systematically download data without permission
• Circumvent security or access controls

6. Intellectual Property

The Drum Dojo™ name, logo, and platform design are owned by Drum Dojo™ and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without express written permission.

Drum Dojo™ is built using open-source components including VexFlow (MIT licence) and other libraries used under their respective licences. These components remain the property of their respective authors.

7. Limitation of Liability

Drum Dojo™ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but we are not liable for data loss beyond those reasonable measures.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Drum Dojo™ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings — this terminates these Terms for you
• Drum Dojo™ may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your content may be removed from the platform

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Italy. If you are an EU consumer, mandatory local consumer protection laws also apply.

10. Changes to Terms

We will notify you of material changes to these Terms via email before they take effect. Continued use of Drum Dojo™ after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
